Marietta Track Club CCYTL 2026 Season Opener

The Marietta Track Club opened the season with an impressive showing this past weekend at the CCYTL Meet held at Kennesaw Mountain High School. Athletes from across Cobb County competed in events ranging from sprints and relays to field events, with competitors ages 3 through 16 years old taking part in a full day of competition.
Throughout the meet, Marietta Track Club athletes consistently placed among the top finishers, earning multiple victories, podium finishes, and personal bests against strong competition from programs including Georgia Thoroughbreds, Pebblebrook Track Club, The Heat Track Club, UC Eagles, and Atlanta Zoom Athletics.
Girls Division Highlights
Ages 3β5
Marietta Track Club started the meet strong with Addicyn Paige winning the Girls 3-5 50m Dash in 11.51 seconds, finishing ahead of runners from UC Eagles and Pebblebrook.
Ages 6β8
Marietta continued the momentum in the younger divisions.
Marlee Gwynn won the Girls 6-8 50m Dash in 8.89 seconds, narrowly defeating runners from The Heat Track Club.
In the 200m Dash, Nylah McNair finished 3rd place in 42.87 seconds, earning a podium finish for the team.
In the Standing Triple Jump, Marlee Gwynn placed 3rd with a jump of 4-08.
Ages 9β10
The Marietta Track Club girls had several strong finishes in this division.
In the 100m Dash,
π₯ Shiloh Walker finished 3rd in 15.64 seconds, while teammate

In the 200m Dash, Kaylani Bentley captured 1st place in 32.52 seconds, with Shiloh Walker finishing 4th in 33.58 seconds.
Marietta Track Club dominated the Standing Triple Jump, sweeping four of the top five spots:

Ages 11β12
Ava Kelley delivered one of the top performances of the meet.
She placed 2nd in the 100m Dash with a time of 14.05 seconds and later came back to win the 200m Dash in 29.65 seconds.
In the Standing Triple Jump, Kelley finished 3rd, while teammate Mya Martinez also placed among the top competitors.
Ages 13β14
Chaya Hughes-Turner had an outstanding meet.
She finished 2nd in the 100m Dash with a time of 13.70 seconds and also placed 2nd in the 200m Dash in 28.60 seconds.
Hughes-Turner added another highlight by winning the Standing Triple Jump with a jump of 6-04.
Boys Division Highlights
Ages 6β8
The 6-8 boys division was dominated by Marietta Track Club athletes.
In the 100m Dash, Marietta swept the top three spots:

Walker followed up his record-setting performance by winning the 200m Dash in 32.65 seconds, with teammate Jonathan Walker finishing 2nd in 33.13 seconds.
One of the biggest moments of the meet came in the Boys 6β8 800 Meter Run, where Elijah BurrellΒ delivered a record-setting performance.
Burrell controlled the race and crossed the finish line in 3:22.18, setting a new Cobb County record in the event.
Ages 9β10
The Marietta Track Club boys also performed well in this competitive age group.
In the 100m Dash,
π₯ Ryan Hill finished 2nd in 14.74 seconds, while
π₯ Karsten Randle placed 3rd in 14.90 seconds.
In the 200m Dash, Michael McNair earned a 1st place finish with a time of 30.81 seconds.
Ages 11β12
Ayden Harrison delivered one of the fastest performances of the meet.
He won the 100m Dash in 13.40 seconds and followed it up with another victory in the 200m Dash with a time of 28.38 seconds.
Teammate Noah Morrison placed 2nd in the 200m Dash, finishing just behind Harrison in 28.46 seconds.
Ages 13β14
In the highly competitive Boys 13-14 100m Dash, Christian Lee finished 4th place with a strong time of 12.82 seconds, competing against several top athletes from other clubs.

Stephen exploded out of the blocks in the 100m and never looked back, setting a new meet record while leading a Marietta Track Club podium sweep.
He followed it up with another dominant performance in the 200m.

Age Group: Boys 6β8
Elijah proved to be one of the fastest Mid-distance young athletes at the meet.
